Odyssey of the Mind
Mrs. Beth McLean - Coordinator
Odyssey of the Mind (O.M.) is an international creative problem-solving competition among students in kindergarten through college. Its purpose is to promote creativity, to develop team building skills and divergent thinking. A team is made up of not more than seven members. Those members must solve one of six "long term" problems and must develop skills for "spontaneous" problem solving. Each OM Team must have at least one adult registered as its head coach. Registration for Odyssey of the Mind teams is in the fall each year.
Our Duncan Lake team competed Saturday, February 28th at the Regionals and placed 4th in Problem 3/Div 2. Good job team.
