KMIS Family Fun Night

Kraft Meadows Intermediate School is hosting its first annual Family Fun Night on Friday, April 24, from 6–8 PM, and all families are invited to join in the fun.

This event is designed for the whole family to enjoy together, with a wide variety of activities including board games, group challenges, arts and crafts, trivia, karaoke, a photo booth, and more. Food will be available for purchase, and additional snacks and drinks will be provided by the PTO.

Admission is $5 per child in advance or $10 at the door, with free entry for adults. Families who purchase tickets by April 22 will be entered for a chance to win a PlayStation 5, generously sponsored by the Law Offices of Mitchell S. Bisson.

Siblings are welcome, and all children must be accompanied by an adult. Volunteers and donations for the Junk Food Walk are also being accepted to help make the event a success.

CHS Athletics Physical Night

Caledonia High School will host Athletic Physical Night on Wednesday, May 27th, from 6:00–8:00 PM at Caledonia High School (North Gym). This opportunity is open to all student-athletes entering grades 6–12 in the fall. The cost is $30, with payment accepted by cash or check made payable to Caledonia Athletics. Girl Scouts Teddy Bear Picnic

Girl Scouts of Michigan Shore to Shore Troop 4698 is hosting a Teddy Bear Picnic on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at New Ground Church in Caledonia. This fun event is open to Daisy and Brownie Girl Scouts and includes games, activities, a snack, and a special patch. Girls are encouraged to bring their favorite teddy bear or stuffed animal to join in the fun. Registration is limited, and the deadline to sign up is April 17. Spring Book Sale at Caledonia Township Library

The Caledonia Friends of the Library invite the community to their annual Spring Book Sale, featuring more than 5,000+ gently used, sorted books and media available for purchase. Proceeds from the sale help support programs, events, and resources offered at the Caledonia Township Library.

The sale will take place on Friday, May 1, from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM and Saturday, May 2, from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the library, located at 6260 92nd Street SE in Caledonia.

Friends of the Library members can enjoy a special presale on Friday, May 1, from 9:30–10:00 AM, with memberships available for purchase at the door. Educators with a valid ID may also select up to 20 free books of their choice during the sale.

With most items priced between $1 and $3, the Spring Book Sale offers a great opportunity to discover new reads while supporting the library and the programs that benefit the entire community.

Dine for a Difference – Support Caledonia Swim & Dive

Make plans to dine out and support the Caledonia Swim & Dive team on Wednesday, April 29. Railtown Brewing Co. will donate 10% of all food sales throughout the day to benefit the program.

Stop by anytime between 11:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. to take part. Guests who show the event flyer can help double the impact of their donation.

It’s an easy way to support our student-athletes while enjoying a meal with family and friends.

The talented performers of the Caledonia Middle School Players are bringing the magic of Disney’s Frozen Jr. to the stage this spring. Based on the beloved Disney film, the production features music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, with a book by Jennifer Lee.

Join us for this family-friendly musical adventure as students bring the story of Anna, Elsa, and their unforgettable journey to life through music, acting, and stagecraft.

Healthy Kids Running Series

Join us for five weeks of racing fun this spring with Healthy Kids Running Series (HKRS) Caledonia! This exciting program offers age-appropriate races for children ages 2 through 8th grade, with distances ranging from a 50-yard dash to a 1-mile run. HKRS also proudly features a Challenger Division—an untimed 75-yard dash designed for children with special needs who may require extra assistance on the course.

HKRS is all about fun, inclusion, and family! All abilities and experience levels are welcome. Each week, runners earn points based on their finish, which accumulate throughout the five-week series. At the end of the series, the top three point earners in each division receive a trophy, and all participants receive a medal when they cross the finish line on Week 5.

Registration includes all five races, a tech t-shirt, sponsor giveaways, and a finisher medal at the final race. Single-day registration is available in person for $15 on race day.

Race Dates (Sundays at 4:00 PM):
April 19, April 26, May 3, May 10 & May 17
Rain date (if needed): May 31

Each race day lasts approximately one hour.

Camp O’Malley Summer Camp

Camp O’Malley’s 2026 Summer Camps offer an unforgettable summer filled with outdoor adventure, hands-on activities, team games, and creative exploration. Campers will climb the rock wall, tackle the low ropes course, practice archery, hike wooded trails, enjoy arts and crafts, and build confidence through classic camp games and experiences.

With Day Camp (ages 6–12), Overnight Camp (ages 8–12), and Leader-In-Training opportunities (ages 12–14), there are options for every stage of a camper’s journey. This summer also features new overnight camp weeks and exciting themed adventures throughout the season.

Families can register for individual weeks or multiple weeks to create a flexible summer schedule that works best for them. Registration opens January 1.

Families can choose from three different dates and locations in January to find what works best. Caledonia Community Schools is expanding early learning opportunities for the 2026–2027 school year to better support our youngest learners and their families.

Updates include greater access to Young Fives with a section at each elementary school, expanded free, full-day PreK (4-year-old) options, continued tuition-based preschool programming for 3- and 4-year-olds at the Duncan Lake Early Childhood Center, and Little Scots Playgroup for children under age 3.

Caledonia Middle School Baseball

Caledonia Middle School Baseball Tryouts – 6th, 7th & 8th Grade
Boys in 6th through 8th grade are invited to sign up for Middle School Baseball tryouts on Friday, January 9. The program aims to be as inclusive as possible, with at least one team of 12 players at each grade level.

The cost to play is $250 (collected after rosters are finalized) and includes league play, indoor practices, a jersey, hat, and hoodie. League play will run from April 13 through early May, finishing with a weekday single-elimination tournament for the top four teams.

Families are encouraged to sign up using the Google Form linked in the QR code so organizers can plan for the appropriate number of teams and coaches.

Tryouts: Friday, January 9
Grades: 6th, 7th, and 8th
Cost: $250 (after roster assignment)
Note: This is a club activity not sanctioned by Caledonia Community Schools or MHSAA.

Holy Family Food Pantry – Here to Help Local Families
Know a local family in need? The Holy Family Food Pantry is here to support neighbors facing food insecurity. Food distribution takes place on the second Tuesday and Thursday of each month. If you or someone you know lives within the boundaries of Patterson to 76th Street and 108th Street to Whitneyville, they may be eligible for assistance. Upon arrival, families must present a valid driver’s license and current first-class mail as proof of residency. The pantry operates as a self-shop model, offering compassionate support while allowing families to choose food items that best meet their needs.
