JR FLL (First Lego League)

The Caledonia Jr First Lego League Robotics program is for students in grades 2-3. Teams meet from September-November researching real-world problems and creating motorized Lego models, a "Show Me" poster that introduces their team and demonstrates what they learned. VEX IQ **NEW for 2021-22**

The Caledonia VEX Robotics program is for students in grades 4-6. Teams of 5-8 students meet from August-January constructing programming a VEX IQ Robot, while maintaining an Engineering Notebook, in preparation for Regional Competitions. For more information on the program, and to register, visit the VEX IQ website, or contact VEX IQ Coordinators, Jill Arehart and Kristin Collins via email

MS VEX Robotics

The Middle School VEX League Robotics program is for students in grades 7-8. Teams of 3-4 students meet from August-January at Kraft Meadows Middle School, constructing and programming a VEX Robot. Teams compete in matches against other teams in both League and Tournament play, in addition to participating in Skills competitions. HS VEX Robotics

The High School VEX League Robotics program is for students in grades 9-12. Teams of 3-4 students meet from August-February at Caledonia High School, constructing and programming a VEX Robot. Teams compete in matches against other teams in both League and Tournament play, in addition to participating in Skills competitions.
