2022 World Championship!
Congratulations to our SIX teams that qualified for the VEX and RAD World Championship!!
Caledonia Robotics' Middle School VEX teams the "Cal Tippers" and "Legend of the Four Rings" advanced from their Skills scores, both in the top 10% in the WORLD!
Caledonia Robotics' VEX IQ team "VEX Luthor" advanced after securing a Skills score that's in the top 6% in the WORLD!
Caledonia RAD Drone's team 13130A qualified after being named Tournament Champion TWICE, while team 13790B qualified after being named Tournament Champion AND receiving the High Flyer Award!
2 Teams Committed - Let the Fundraising Begin!
The two teams below have committed to attend the event -- MS VEX's Legend of the Four Rings and VEX IQ's VEX Luthor and will be traveling to Dallas in May!
Both teams are busy fundraising via can drives, hat days, jeans days and more, knowing it will take the help of our community to cover the estimated $15,340 in registration, flights, lodging and meals that will be required of the teams.

Team: #97311B Team Members: Addison Dana, Logan Paulen, Nola Pearson, Sophia Teelander Awards: Legend of the Four Rings advanced to Worlds due to their outstanding Skills Score. Their score ranks them in the top 12% of teams in the WORLD, and 12th in the state of Michigan! About the team: Addy, Sophia, Logan and Nola are all 7th graders at Duncan Lake Middle School. Most of them have been involved in the robotics program for 4+ years. Logan and Addy are the team drivers, Nola is the team coder and Sophia documented their successes and opportunities in the team notebook. They have affectionately named the robot Julius. They hope to continue their journey together by attending the 2022 World Championship in Dallas, TX! |
VEXIQ - VEX Luthor

Team: #63165F Team Members: Gavin Grysen (6), Leah Marshall (4), Owen Marshall (6), Nicholai Nonhof (6), Logan Workman (6) Awards: VEX Luthor advanced to Worlds due to their outstanding Skills Score. Their score ranks them in the top 7% of teams in the WORLD, and 7th in the state of Michigan! About the team: Vex Luthor is a 4th-6th grade Caledonia Schools’ VEX IQ Robotics team. Each member of the team has taken part in planning, building, and coding the robot to perform specific tasks in both remote and autonomous driving situations. All team members have participated in previous robotics programs through Caledonia Schools, but this is their first year in VEX IQ. Thanks to their experiences through robotics, the team has not only gained knowledge in the field of engineering, but developed close friendships along the way.They hope to continue their journey together by attending the 2022 World Championship in Dallas, TX! |
