Senior Events - Save the Date!
All dates and times are subject to change so check back often for updates and additions.
4/02 Senior Survey Due
The Senior Survey allows us to collect information regarding your future plans (post-secondary schooling, military, employment), scholarships you've received, CCS involvement, etc. The information will be presented on graduation slides so submitting this information in a timely manner is vital.

5/01 Decision Day @ CHS
Caledonia High School will be celebrating National Decision Day on May 1. On this day, all CHS seniors are encouraged to wear something that represents their post-secondary plans - whether that’s a specific college or university, trade school, military branch, employer, or general career pathway. Seniors will take a large group photo at 8:00 am, followed by smaller group photos where students can showcase their individual choices. We look forward to seeing everyone proudly representing their future plans on May 1!

5/11 & 5/12 Senior Exams
Monday, May 11 - Full Day
Students will attend ALL classes as normally scheduled. 4th-6th period exams will be administered during class.
- 1st period (regular class)
- 2nd period (regular class)
- 3rd period (regular class)
- 4th period exam (10:57-12:26)
- 5th period exam (12:32-1:31)
- 6th period exam (1:37-2:36)
Tuesday, May 12 - 1/2 Day
Students will attend 1st-3rd period classes, as normally scheduled, where exams will be administered. After their exams are complete, students will be dismissed to check-out.

5/13 & 5/18 Senior Walks
The Senior Walk is an invitation to take one last walk with other seniors through the hallways of the CCS elementary school where you began your education. Please wear your cap and gown and report to your elementary school at it's assigned date and time.
Each school is a little different, but typically elementary students line the halls and the students parade through giving high fives, etc. Parents are welcome to attend.

5/13 Athletic Signing Day
Join us as we celebrate our senior student-athletes continuing their athletic careers at the next level. Family, friends, teammates, and staff are invited to come support and recognize the hard work, dedication, and commitment these students have shown throughout their high school careers. We look forward to honoring the Class of 2026 and this exciting next step in their journey.

5/13 Senior Recognition Night
The 2026 Senior Recognition Night will take place on Wednesday, May 13 @ 7:00 PM in CHS's Fine Arts Center.
Seniors with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above at the end of the 1st semester will be invited to attend, along with those receiving special awards and scholarships. We will also be honoring graduates who have enlisted in the armed forces at this event. Invitations will be emailed to qualifying students in early May.
5/18 Senior Girl's Mother Daughter Social
The Caledonia Women's Club cordially invites Senior Girls and their mother(s) or a special guest to attend the Senior Girl's Mother Daughter Social on Monday, May 18, from 9:00-10:30 AM. The event will be held in the North Cafeteria of the high school.
Guest Speaker: Mel Trombley, M.Ed.
CWC Scholarships will be presented at the event. If you applied for a scholarship, you should plan on attending. Business attire is requested.
Kindly RSVP by April 25.
5/19 Senior Breakfast
Students (only) are invited to celebrate with their peers at the Senior Breakfast, to be held at 8:00 AM on May 19 in the North Cafeteria.
Students will go directly to the Senior Assembly following the event.
5/19 Senior Assembly
The Senior Assembly will take place in Caledonia High School's North Gym at 9:00 AM. Students should wear gowns (no caps). Parents are welcome to attend the Senior Assembly.
The event normally includes:

5/19 Graduation Rehearsal
Students will depart for Graduation Rehearsal following the Senior Assembly, at 10:15 AM.
- All students are required to take the bus to and from Calvin University.
- Students should return to CHS via bus by 2:00 PM
- Attendance is mandatory!
5/19 Graduation Ceremony
Location: Calvin University's Van Noord Arena
Timeline:
- 5:45 PM - Students report to Calvin University
- 6:00 PM - Doors open at Calvin University for General Seating
- 7:00 PM - Ceremony begins
Entry: Tickets are required for entry. Each family will be receiving up to 8 tickets for entry, which will be available for pick up in the south campus office.
- Students or parents can pick their tickets up in the SOUTH CAMPUS OFFICE during the week of May 4th, from 7:45 am - 3 pm. If you do not need all eight tickets, please let us know at the time of pick-up so that we can disperse them to those that may need additional ones.
- If you would like to request extra tickets, you may do so HERE. Entry into the venue will be given only to those with a ticket in hand.
- Livestream will be available for those that are unable to attend.
Handicap Seating: Located on the main level; designated as section AA all the way around the first row. There will be ushers available to assist as needed. Handicap seating tickets can be requested HERE. Please note, handicap seating tickets will be counted as part of the 8 tickets you receive.
Additional Details:
- Graduate processional lines and seating will be in alphabetical order, with the exception of our exchange students, who will be honored at the end.
- A link to a Digital Program will be provided, highlighting each Senior's time at CCS.
- Students will remain in line to pick up their Graduation Packet following the event. This packet will include:
- Diploma
- Class of 2026 Composite Picture
- Student awards and/or other 'extras'

Academic honors cords are distributed at graduation practice. All other cords are presented to qualifying students by the club or course coordinator.

Transcripts
Students can request transcripts through the Xello app that is on their Clever dashboard. Once a student has begun to track a college application in Xello, they have the option to request their transcript be sent to the institution of their choice. Instructions can be found below.
