CCS PreK Preschool provides a high-quality early learning experience designed to prepare children for success in Young Fives and Kindergarten. Our PreK program supports the development of early literacy, math, social-emotional skills, and foundational school readiness through engaging, play-based learning experiences.
CCS PreK (4 Year Old) Program Options
Free Full-Day PreK
- Full-day program taught by Caledonia Community Schools
- Focused on kindergarten readiness
- Curriculum aligned to early learning and kindergarten expectations
- For the 2026–2027 school year, CCS Preschool (PreK) will be offered at:
- Each Caledonia Community Schools elementary school, and
- Duncan Lake Early Childhood Center (DLECC) as overflow space, based on enrollment
Tuition-Based PreK
Tuition-based PreK options are offered through CCS Preschool and may include:
- Half-day or full-day schedules
- Located at the Duncan Lake Early Childhood Center (DLECC)
Specific schedules and offerings are determined annually based on enrollment.
Who Is Eligible?
- Children who turn 4 years old on or before September 30, 2026
- Children must be fully potty-trained by the first day of school
