Career Training
We help students explore career interests, build workplace-ready skills, and prepare for life after graduation—whether that means college, technical training, or entering the workforce. Students gain real-world experience through engineering and technical courses, along with partnerships that connect them directly to local industries.
Caledonia High School is proud to be one of 16 high schools in Michigan selected to join the SME PRIME® (Partnership Response In Manufacturing Education) program through a public-private partnership with the SME Education Foundation and the State of Michigan. This program brings industry-aligned manufacturing and engineering opportunities directly to our students, connecting classroom learning with hands-on experiences that reflect real-world needs. At Duncan Lake Middle School, MEERA (Manufacturing, Engineering, Energy, Robotics, and Automation) introduces students to these same concepts early on, helping them explore engineering, design, and problem-solving through engaging, hands-on activities that build excitement for future STEM opportunities.

Dual Enrollment
Students have the opportunity to take advanced classes in both middle school and high school.
- 8th grade students can take Algebra I, Spanish and/or Health classes for middle school and high school credit.
- 9th-12th grade students can work with their counselor in the student services office to enroll in up to 10 classes at an area college for both high school and college credit.
AP (Advanced Placement) Courses
Students in grades 9-12 that are interested in a more in depth course of study are encouraged to enroll in our AP classes. These courses are designed to prepare students for the College Board AP test related to that course's content. Depending on the test score result and college acceptance policies, students have the chance to earn college credit for taking the test.
Accelerated Learning
CCS appreciates the wide range of unique learners that make up our student body. Our teachers distinctly challenge each student's learning journey by differentiating their instruction and encouraging a pace for each to strive toward their highest intellectual growth potential while balancing a healthy mindset.
Fine Arts
Caledonia Community Schools values the importance of the arts by incorporating weekly art & music classes K-5 and supporting a wide range of available opportunities for all of our K-12 students in both class and the community.
