In-District Transfer
In-District Student Transfer for the 2024-2025 School Year
Parents/Guardians of elementary students, grades Young Fives through 3rd grade who are seeking to transfer a student to their boundary zone school or are seeking a transfer for any other reason to a zone outside of their boundary may request an internal transfer. In District Transfer forms for the 2024-2025 school year will be available to complete starting February 1, 2024 at 8:00 AM and close on March 12, 2024 at 5:00 PM. This form can be found in your Parent PowerSchool account by going to the Forms section in the Navigation window. In the General tab of the Forms section, select In District Transfer Form to make your request. Please see Transfer Form instructions below.
Any requests made after the deadline of March 12, 2024 at 5:00 pm will be placed on a wait list and placement determined at a later date.
Parents will be notified of the request status for the 2024-2025 school year via email by the end of the business day on Friday, April 12, 2024
Placement will occur on a first-come, first-served basis, dependent on seat availability, in the priority order listed below:
- Priority 1: Siblings who are attending separate buildings and wish to be reunited.
- Priority 2: Families who are attending a school outside of their home boundary and are seeking a transfer into their home boundary school zone.
- Priority 3: Families seeking an internal transfer for any other reason.
