Step 1 - Submit DLECC Preschool Application

Who Can Enroll?

Students that will be 3 after 9/1 or turn 2.9 years during the current school year (Little Scots Playgroup)
Students that will be 3 years old by September 1st (3 year old preschool)
Students that will be 4 years old by September 30th (4 year old preschool)

2025-26 School Year- Returning families can enroll starting January 7, 2025, at 8 AM, and new families can enroll starting February 1, 2025, at 12 AM.

What information do I need to collect before I start the application?

The initial application can be completed online without any attachments or documents. The application will ask you to rank your preferred classroom placement and enter your contact information. Simple & quick! The online application will save your spot in line for registration while you complete the forms and submit the enrollment fee.

Step 2 - Fill out ONLINE Forms

A link to the ONLINE Bright Wheel Enrollment forms will be provided once you complete the application. You will receive a confirmation email with an invite to join a roster or a waitlist. This will arrive in about a week.

Step 3 - Pay Enrollment Fee

If there is an immediate opening available, an invoice for the enrollment fee will be added to your Brightwheel account.

Step 4 - Complete Health Appraisal

Health Appraisal

Before the first day of school, all students are required to submit a Health Appraisal (signed by the physician and parent, appraisal exam needs to be completed within 12 months prior to the start of school).

Completed Enrollment & Start Date

Within 5-7 business days you will receive a confirmation email with instructions to secure your spot on either a classroom roster or on a waitlist.

The enrollment fee is $75/student ($25 for returning students) or $100/family. An invoice will be posted in your family's Brightwheel account and the payment will be processed online. We will only collect an enrollment fee if we can offer you a confirmed spot on the roster. If the class you selected is full, you are welcome to join the waitlist at no charge. If an opening becomes available, then we will contact you to collect your enrollment fee to confirm your spot.
