It’s dinosaurs galore this summer at Leighton Township Library with the Summer Reading Program theme, Unearth a Story! Families of all ages are invited to dig into great books, track reading adventures, and enjoy tons of awesome FREE events all summer long, including crafts, activity stations, sensory play, dance parties, geode cracking, and the Dino Party Summer Reading Kick-Off. Stop by Leighton Township Library to join the fun and sign up for Summer Reading beginning June 1.

The Caledonia Resource Center is excited to announce the inaugural season of the Caledonia Youth Swimming Program! This new program is designed to introduce young swimmers to the sport in a fun, encouraging, and energetic environment while building confidence, friendships, and a love for the water.
Participants will learn competitive swimming fundamentals, develop water confidence, and enjoy being part of a supportive team atmosphere led by amazing coaches and teammates. Whether your swimmer hopes to one day become a Fighting Scot or simply wants to learn new skills and have fun, this program is the perfect place to start.

Caledonia Community Schools invites parents and families to join us for an engaging presentation focused on helping students thrive in an AI-driven world. “Raising AI-Ready Kids” will provide practical insights and strategies for families as Artificial Intelligence continues to shape education, careers, and everyday life.
The session will be led by Giancarlo Brotto, an internationally recognized education innovator and founder of Pave Edu, who has worked with global organizations focused on the future of learning, social-emotional learning, and AI in education.
During the presentation, families will explore:
- How AI is shaping our world
- Skills students need to thrive in the AI era
- Practical strategies for raising confident and responsible digital citizens

The Caledonia Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to host its 16th Annual Tee Up for Scholarships Golf Outing on Friday, July 31, 2026, at Saskatoon Golf Club in Alto. This annual event brings together local businesses, community members, and supporters for a fun day on the course while raising funds for scholarships that support local students.
Designed for golfers of all skill levels, the outing features both competitive and fun course events throughout the day, along with sponsorship opportunities for businesses looking to support the event and connect with the community.

The Green Lake Association is hosting its annual Boating Safety class for those 12+ years old (or turning 12 this summer) on Saturday, May 30th, from 8 am to 3 pm at the Green Lake Calvary Church gym. If you would like to attend, you need to register online before the class by visiting our Association website (www.greenlake.us). On the home page, you will find a link that redirects you to the DNR registration page. The class is limited to 50 people.
The class is FREE and is taught by the Allegan County Sheriff's Dept. All attendees should plan to bring a #2 pencil and lunch. A morning snack and a bottle of water will be provided by the Association.
Registration for Caledonia Robotics is closing soon! 🤖
Students in grades 2–12 have the opportunity to explore robotics through hands-on teamwork, problem-solving, engineering, and competition with our VEX GO, VEX IQ, and VEX V5 programs. Teams work together to design, build, and program robots while developing collaboration and critical thinking skills in a fun and engaging environment.
Programs are available at multiple grade levels, with opportunities to compete in leagues and tournaments and even advance to state and world competitions.
